南通第二機床有限公司成立于1965年，為全國較早的四大平面磨床生產基地之一，是中國機床工具工業(yè)協(xié)會磨床分會理事單位，直接參與磨床各項技術標準的制定和執(zhí)行。　　

從1991年起至今一直與德國G&H公司、西班牙GER公司合作，生產數(shù)控FS系列精密臥軸矩臺平面磨床，產品遠銷歐、美及東南亞地區(qū)。在歐共體*40%以上，并仍在繼續(xù)增長…… 　　

公司生產普通平面磨床、數(shù)控平面磨床、精密平面磨床、數(shù)控精密平面磨床、龍門系列數(shù)控平面（導軌）磨床，品種多、規(guī)格全、質量好。

Set up in 1965, was one of the four earliest surface grinder building bases in China, the member of the grinders branch to China Machine Tool industrial Association, directily joined in making and executing the grinding technical standards and documents.

Since 1991, it has been cooperating with Germany G&H and Spanish GER in building FS precision surface grinders with horizontal spindle and rectangular table, and leading the international advanced level in this field.

Its products have been finding a good sale to the Europe, America and Southeast Asia., Just in Europe it owned over 40 percent of surface grinding market occupation which is still being raised up. It makes a wide assortment of surface grinders with good quality, such as the common, the precision or the super precision grinders of mechanical, PLC controlled, or numerical controlled types with hydraulic operating system.
