Automatic Plate Saw LPS-TA
The automatic table bandsaw - ideal for steel trade and industry
The LPS-TA is the ideal solution from Behringer when it comes to fully automatic cutting of small plates and blocks. By producing flat and rectangular material from sheets, advantages can be achieved in material purchasing and significantly reduced storage costs. With its movable support table and automatic positioning device, it can be easily loaded and unloaded by crane. Despite the automation, test cuts and notching work are also part of its repertoire. Even with difficult to cut materials, the LPS-TA ensures precision and speedy work.
Features of the LPS-TA
- Unsurpassed precision and cutting performance
The high cutting accuracy, quiet running and long blade life are all down to the special torsion resistant design of the saw frame. In comparison to plate and block bandsaw machines from other manufacturers, the force for the saw feed is applied directly beneath the cutting point, which results in feed movements that are considerably more accurate.
- Advantages in material purchasing
By producing flat materials from large sheets, rationalisation effects can be achieved both in warehousing and in the purchase of raw materials.
- Clamping device for layer cuts (option)
For sawing larger batch sizes, plates can be stacked in layers and held in a process-safe manner with the optional additional vertical clamping device.
- Chip conveyor standard
A generously sized chip conveyor with integrated coolant tank is located under the saw unit, directly in the chip flow direction. Any chips and coolant are collected here and separated. The conveyor can be moved out of the machine frame for cleaning and maintenance.
- Powered duplex chip brushes
actively clean the blade and prevent chips being drawn into the cutting channel. The brushes are adjusted automatically towards the saw blade, ensuring uniform cleaning action. The benefits: Increased tool service life and lower brush wear.
- Automatic feeding unit
Thanks to the combination of NC-controlled feeding unit and intelligent control, plates can be separated into strips fully automatically.
- Servo Feed System
The Behringer servo feeding system ensures constant chip removal and makes better use of the capabilities of modern bandsaw blades. The rapid response of the servo feeding system to the sensors for the cutting pressure regulation systematically prevents overloading and premature wear of the bandsaw blades.
- Quick bandsaw blade change
Quick and easy – tool-free bandsaw blade changes mean shortest set-up times. Just a few simple steps are all that is needed to change the bandsaw blade.
- Cast iron bａnd guiding parts
are made by Behringer and provide vibration damping directly at the cutting edge, thus increasing tool life.
- Compact
Due to its compact dimensions, it can also be set up in constricted spaces.
- Movable material support table
For easy loading and unloading by crane, the material table can be moved out from under the saw unit.
