常用的有四種：
（1）白色拋光膏。由硬脂酸、脂肪酸、氧化鋁粉、單甘脂、石蠟、羊毛脂等配合而成。主要成分是氧化鋁。適用于任何材質(zhì)的精細(xì)拋光。
（2）黃色拋光膏。由硬化油、凡士林、松香、石英粉、氧化鐵黃等配合而成。主要成分是長石。適用于金屬或非金屬的粗拋。
（3）綠色拋光膏。由硬脂酸、單甘脂、蜂蠟、石蠟、羊毛脂、適量氧化鉻綠和出光較好的氧化鋁粉等配合而成。主要成分是氧化鉻綠和氧化鋁。適用于任何工件的鏡面拋光。

適用范圍：采用高檔進(jìn)口材料精制而成，具有很強(qiáng)的切削力，功效快，光澤度高，均勻，表面光澤無磨痕，還有降溫，溶解分離等作用。拋光后不同蠟?zāi)馨l(fā)出黑色冷光，超白光等亮度，達(dá)到超卓鏡面，含防銹油脂成分高，可延長產(chǎn)品防銹壽命。
拋光工序分為三步：粗拋、中拋和精拋。要獲得性能必須選對用有針對性的拋光蠟。一般情況下為避免適用時混亂分別會用不同的顏色表示不同品種的拋光蠟。不同品種的拋光蠟用處不同
黃色：適合拋光和研磨軟金屬，如黃銅，鋁，銅

綠色/粉色：適用于研磨不銹鋼，鐵，鋁的精光拋?zhàn)鳎_(dá)到鏡光無暇的8K效果
